From Hot Mess to Blessed Review

From Hot Mess to Blessed: Hope to Propel Your Soul and the Promises That Change Everything
by Julie Gillies

When I read the book, I felt like I’m having a conversation over a cup of coffee with Julie. She isn’t preachy, and she isn’t trying to turn everything into sunshine and rainbows. That’s why her book had such an impact on me. She used her own personal experiences to show you that she wasn’t kidding about “hot mess”, and that just made her more relatable. I was part way through the book when I realized she had study questions in the back, and my first thought was that I would look them over when I re-read the book. And I will re-read this book because she shares so much kindness and love in her words.

Disclosure: I got a free copy of this book from the author in exchange for a review. I got the better end of the deal.
